We are looking for an experienced Monitoring and Observability System Architect. Design the architecture of network monitoring & observability solutions in the overall Service Assurance systems landscape. Define standards and best practices for monitoring and observability. Collaborate with business teams to gather business requirements in term of (auto-)discovery, collect, alerting, correlation, AIOps, dashboard and reporting solutions. Integrate and optimize the use of Blueplanet UAA and Splunk for cross domain data correlation, alerting, predictive features, and dashboarding.

Responsibilities
Design the architecture of network monitoring & observability solutions.
Define standards and best practices for monitoring and observability.
Collaborate with business teams to gather business requirements.
Integrate and optimize the use of Blueplanet UAA and Splunk.
Qualifications
This is a senior position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience.
At least 5 years of demonstrated success as a technical leader in Monitoring and Observability.
Required Skills
Proficiency with Splunk and BluePlanet UAA (or other industry standard monitoring and observability tools).
Robust knowledge of cloud environments (Azure (preferred), GCP, AWS).
Microservices architectures and containerization technologies (Kubernetes).
Deep understanding of data collection and monitoring protocols.
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Data collection and monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow / sFlow, Syslog, REST API, Messaging bus (e.g. kafka), OpenTelemetry, etc.).
Network services architecture (SDWAN, Cloud Connectivity, MPLS, etc.).
