Experian invests in people and new advanced technologies to unlock the power of data. We are looking for an accomplished and experienced Java Engineering Manager to lead our UKBI engineering team. You will have a background in Java, microservices, serverless architecture, Docker, EKS and search technologies such as Solr or open search.
Daily operations demand distributed search systems knowledge, hands-on comfort with that stack is necessary .

Lead a team of engineers, supporting professional growth and providing technical guidance.
Collaborate with partners to understand data and our requirements, delivering technical solutions.
Design scalable software solutions using Java, microservices, Docker, EKS, Solr/OpenSearch, and AWS technologies.
Ensure high-quality software delivery through best practices in coding, testing, deployment, unit testing, and test automation.
Create project success by contributing hands-on during sprints, resolving complex technical issues, managing risks and impediments, and encouraging innovation through latest technologies.

Experience and Skills:





- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 Years of total experience and 5+ years of experience in java, microservices, python, SQL and NoSQL database technologies
- At least 4 years of experience managing people
- Improve AI adoption to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency.
- Experience in search technologies such as Solr or Open Search
- Expertise of AWS Services like EC2, EKS and Lambda.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Certification in cloud platforms.

Experience building AI-enabled solutions.
