Our partner is looking for a Mobile Automation Tester_SSE based in India. We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to strengthen software quality through reliable, scalable, and efficient automated testing solutions. In this role, you will design and maintain automation scripts, build testing frameworks, and support continuous testing across web applications. You will work primarily with Cypress, JavaScript, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines to validate application functionality, performance, and stability. Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will help identify defects early and support smooth, high-quality releases. You will also contribute to regression testing, cross-browser compatibility, and backend data validation. Accountabilities - Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using the Cypress framework. - Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability. - Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for web applications, including PHP-based applications. - Conduct cross-browser testing to verify application compatibility, functionality, and stability across supported browsers. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, using Jenkins where applicable, to support continuous testing and reliable software delivery. - Execute SQL queries to validate backend data, verify application behavior, and investigate discrepancies.



- Work in Linux environments and perform basic command-line operations to support testing and troubleshooting activities. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess release readiness and resolve quality issues. - Contribute to improvements in test coverage, automation practices, and quality assurance processes. Requirements: - 5–7 years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing. - Hands-on experience with the Cypress automation framework and the ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript for test automation and scripting. - Experience working in Linux environments, including familiarity with basic command-line operations. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools and continuous testing practices; experience with Jenkins is preferred. - Basic to intermediate understanding of SQL for backend data validation and testing. - Experience testing web applications, including functional, integration, regression, and cross-browser testing. - Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to software quality. - Ability to take ownership of testing activities, manage priorities, and work independently in a remote environment. - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar platforms. - Exposure to additional automation frameworks and tools, including Playwright or Selenium. - Preferred: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
