We are seeking applications for the position of Architect/ Urban Designer for Upcoming Zonal development Project in Uttar Pradesh.

Missions/Main Duties

- Prepare urban design frameworks, architectural concepts, and development guidelines for urban planning and development projects.
- Develop design proposals, urban form strategies, streetscape concepts, and public realm improvement plans.
- Review and recommend urban design interventions that enhance the visual quality, functionality, accessibility, and sustainability of urban environments.
- Prepare conceptual and detailed urban design drawings, site layouts, massing studies, urban design codes,



and architectural guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, development control regulations, form-based codes, and urban design standards.
- Integrate sustainability, climate resilience, walkability, and placemaking principles into planning and design proposals.
- Assess and recommend strategies for heritage conservation, urban regeneration, and contextual development.
- Coordinate with planners, transportation specialists, infrastructure experts, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project outcomes.
- Support stakeholder consultations, design reviews, and presentations to project authorities and clients.
- Prepare high-quality visualizations, renderings, reports, and presentation materials to communicate design concepts effectively.

Profile/Skills

- Master’s degree in urban design, Urban Planning, or a related discipline from a recognized university/institute.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute.
- Minimum 5 years of qualified experience in urban design, architecture, and urban development projects.
- Proven experience in the preparation and implementation of Master Plans, Urban Design Guidelines, Zonal Development Plans, Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Plans, Public Realm Improvement Projects, and Urban Regeneration Initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of urban design principles, architectural design, place-making, and public realm development.
- Sound understanding of building codes, development regulations, form-based codes, and urban design standards.
- proficiency in related software and tools for 2D/3D modelling, rendering. and visualization like AutoCAD, Sketchup etc.
