PAR is looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join our team. We operate in an international, fast-paced, high-growth environment with a cloud and SaaS-first approach and a limited on-prem footprint. In this role, you will own the development and maintenance of internal-facing custom applications, refactor and modernize apps built by citizen developers into secure and production-ready solutions, and uphold best practices across the full SDLC.

Experience developing web applications using the following technologies:

React + Vite

Node / Express.js

Azure SQL

Experience in database design and optimization

Experience in API development and design

Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps

Experience across the full SDLC,



including source code branching and merging strategies and building CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions

Experience using Azure or AWS to create an manage cloud hosted applications

Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and work quality

Experience developing MCP Servers

5–8 years of web application development experience

Experience working within Agile Scrum methodology, including two-week sprints, daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
