Develops, recommends and monitors Infra, Mid-Market, Wealth & CMG credit policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance
Sets overall risk appetite in partnership with senior management and the business lines to develop a coordinated and cohesive risk-taking strategy
Develop and enhance the Credit Reporting & Monitoring framework which meets the requirements of various external & internal stakeholders
Recommend modifications that reflect developing risks, economic conditions and projections, and the competitive environment
Monitor economic performance across all credit decisions and partner with our business and credit team to identify improvement opportunities
The role also involves training of credit and business teams and alignment with the organizational goals set for the Secured/unsecured line of business.
Determining that applicants (Mid-Market & CMG) qualify for loans based on their income, assets, and other factors such as credit history and employment status.
Contribute in building and enhancing framework for Credit Risk Management across ABCL




Working closely with stakeholders for effective Portfolio Management and Risk Appetite monitoring
Coordinating with stakeholders across ABCL and LOBs to value add on Credit Risk function.
Managing Credit Risk Policy for Infra, MM, CMG with clients having diverse business models across industries and complex group structures, multi-banking and consortium/SPV arrangements with diverse borrower expectations.
Infra involves long gestation projects with extended construction and stabilization periods. Ongoing monitoring of portfolio and flagging problem accounts using early warning triggers is critical
Managing the Policy framework for Credit Risk Management for Infra, Mid-Market, Capital Markets and oversight of policy framework for Group companies

Work in close coordination with Business and Credit teams for managing the Policy framework for Credit Risk management and for individual business segments Infra, Mid-Market, Capital Markets
~ Risk underwriting of credit proposals including Risk-reward appropriateness from Counterparty credit risk, industry risk, collateral risk, etc.

Continuous engagement with Business teams and Credit teams for risk assessment of Credit sanctions
~ Risk Management activities / projects in areas like Risk Analytics, Portfolio Management, Risk Appetite, Automation and Risk Governance;

Conducting Portfolio monitoring and identifying potential risks indicators including early warning signals and highlighting the same to credit and business teams for follow up remedial actions
Implement / Supplement the existing business practices in the Risk Management domain to benchmark with the best business practices
