We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade BPM and case management solutions using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Pega application architecture, best practices, integration strategies, and performance optimization, and will play a key role in leading technical design and mentoring team members.
The SSA will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Pega applications.
Define application layer structure, class hierarchy, case types, data models, and integration patterns.
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and performance.
Development & Implementation

Develop complex case workflows, UI rules, data pages, decision rules, and integrations.
Support DevOps practices including CI/CD and deployment automation.
Performance & Optimization

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Optimize database queries, reports, and background processing.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement.
Support UAT and production deployment activities.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain documentation for architecture,



integrations, and deployment processes.
Conduct guardrail compliance reviews and quality assurance checks.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
~5-8+ years of IT experience with Pega application development
~ Strong experience with:

- Data modelling and class structure design
- UI/UX configuration using Pega UI frameworks

Solid understanding of Pega guardrails and performance tuning.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with:
Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations.

Decision tables, decision trees, and declarative rules
