Manager - Sales

We are looking for a Manager – Direct Sales to drive recent business and revenue growth for mediasmart by building direct relationships with brands and advertisers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong network of direct advertisers, a consultative sales approach and a solid understanding of digital and programmatic advertising.

Build and manage relationships with brand marketing, digital, media and growth teams.

Develop a strong pipeline of prospective advertisers and own the sales cycle from prospecting through closure.

Sell mediasmart's capabilities across mobile, CTV, DOOH, audience targeting, location-based advertising and performance-led campaigns.

Work closely with internal Sales, Campaign Management, Product and Operations teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and client delivery.

Build long-term relationships with advertisers and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.

Track pipeline, revenue and sales activity and consistently work towards revenue targets.

Stay close to market trends, advertiser priorities, competitive offerings and emerging opportunities in digital advertising.

4–7 years of experience in digital advertising, AdTech, media or programmatic sales.

- Proven experience in direct advertiser/brand sales with a track record of acquiring and growing client relationships.
- Strong network across brands, advertisers and digital marketing teams.
- Good understanding of programmatic advertising, digital media buying and campaign objectives.
- Experience selling solutions across mobile, CTV, DOOH or other digital channels is an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ownership of revenue targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

You should be equally comfortable walking into a brand's marketing team,



understanding what they're trying to achieve and building a solution around it — rather than simply taking a media brief and responding to it. You should have the confidence, network and commercial instinct to create business, not just manage it.
