We are seeking a skilled and motivated Build Engineer to join our team. The Build Engineer will play a critical role in streamlining and optimizing our software build, integration, and deployment processes. This role involves collaborating with teams, ensuring the delivery of reliable and high-quality build artifacts and supporting our development and release workflows.

As we double down on our growth in Germany and across Europe, we are building a commercial team that thrives on curiosity, grit, and action. The system Engineer is responsible for delivering on consulting engagements and for performing Level 2 (L2) support in topics such as deployments, infrastructure, and custom solutions. Additionally, the system consultant is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Knowledgebase articles for customers and Level 1 (L1) Support. Execute service (L2 support and consulting)



activities in a way to ensure that project outputs are being delivered as per the schedule and to the required quality
Work closely with R&D;, Project Management, follow-up and trace bug fixes and patches
self-learning, computer based and on the job trainings in order to stay up to date on the latest trends
Carry out on-site visits to follow up on the project progress as needed
Ensure that all quality management related tasks are carried out accurately and in a timely manner

3 years' experience
Experience in multi-cultural environments
Experience in liaising with stakeholders from internal/external through different hierarchic levels (staff new to the product, advanced technical staff, managers)
Technical knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Storage and Server Systems (HP Blade, FSC, NetApp, LUN)
Linux administration

A Day in the Life of a System Engineer at Exasol
You start your day reviewing support tickets and troubleshooting customer issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and performance.
You collaborate with the Customer Enablement team, R&D;, and project teams to resolve complex technical problems.
Throughout the day, you provide L2 support , analyze logs, and help improve documentation and knowledge base articles.
