Job Description – Marketing Executive

Location: Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu

Reports To: Proprietor / Management

1. Job Purpose

To develop new customers, increase sales, maintain existing customer relationships, and generate recent business opportunities for UNIQ PRINTERS in the printing and packaging industry.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. New Customer Development

- Identify and approach new customers in Sivakasi and surrounding districts.
- Develop business with matchbox manufacturers, fireworks companies, food manufacturers, dairy companies, automobile spare-parts manufacturers, and other industries requiring printed boxes.
- Conduct direct customer visits and arrange business meetings.
- Generate new enquiries and convert them into confirmed orders.

B. Sales & Marketing

- Promote all types of printing jobs, printed cartons, packaging boxes, and paper-based packaging products.
- Collect customer requirements, specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the proprietor and production team to prepare quotations.
- Follow up on quotations and pending enquiries to close sales.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and develop new accounts.

C. Existing Customer Relationship

- Maintain regular contact with existing customers.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales by introducing additional products and services.
- Collect customer feedback and resolve complaints in coordination with management.
- Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat orders.

D. Market Research

- Identify new markets, industries, and packaging requirements.




- Collect information about competitors, market prices, and customer needs.
- Prepare a database of prospective customers and maintain updated contact details.

E. Reporting

- Submit daily customer visit reports.
- Maintain records of enquiries, quotations, orders, and follow-ups.
- Submit weekly sales progress and monthly performance reports.

3. Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Diploma / Any Degree.
- Experience in sales and marketing is preferred; printing or packaging industry experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and negotiate with customers.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp, and email.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Number of new customers contacted and visited.
- Number of new customer accounts acquired.
- Monthly sales revenue generated.
- Number of enquiries converted into orders.
- Repeat orders from existing customers.
- Collection follow-up and customer satisfaction.

5. Compensation

- Salary: As per experience and capability.
- Travel allowance: As per company policy.
- Incentives: Based on sales performance and achievement of targets.

6. Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive, result-oriented Marketing Executive who can independently develop customers, build strong business relationships, and contribute to the growth of UNIQ PRINTERS.
