Job Summary

IoTfy is looking for a PCB Design Engineer to design, develop, and maintain printed circuit board (PCB) layouts for IoT-enabled products. The candidate will work closely with hardware, software, and mechanical teams to ensure reliable, manufacturable, and high-quality PCB designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage PCB component libraries and create and maintain accurate component footprints.
- Design and develop PCB layouts based on schematics, hardware design rules, layout guidelines, and power dissipation requirements.
- Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) checks to ensure reliable and cost-effective production.
- Prepare and release Bill of Materials (BOM), fabrication files, assembly files, test procedures, and release documentation for prototype, pre-production, and final-production builds.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and mechanical teams to meet functional, thermal, and manufacturability requirements.
- Support prototype bring-up, debugging, and testing to validate PCB designs.




- Design high-quality single-layer and double-layer PCBs using Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tools.
- Stay updated on emerging IoT modules, PCB technologies, and design methodologies to improve design quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in PCB design.
- Proficiency in designing single-layer and double-layer PCBs using Altium Designer.
- Understanding of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and high-speed circuit design.
- Exposure to the complete product development lifecycle.
- At least one independently completed project delivered successfully.
- Strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, and documentation skills.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
