Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for a plastic injection molding manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, process stability, customer satisfaction, and compliance with applicable quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in plastic injection molding processes, quality systems, problem-solving, customer complaints, supplier quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for injection molded components.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, inspection plans, and control plans.
- Monitor injection molding processes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Review and control incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Lead analysis and resolution of customer complaints using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and CAPA methodologies.
- Drive reduction of rejection, rework, scrap, customer complaints, and process variation.
- Prepare and review PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram, SOPs, Work Instructions, and inspection standards.




- Monitor critical process parameters such as molding temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling time, cycle time, and material conditions.
- Ensure proper control of raw materials, color/masterbatch, regrind, drying conditions, and material traceability.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for internal and external quality issues.
- Conduct process audits, product audits, and layered process audits.
- Manage calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment.
- Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchase, and Supplier Quality teams.
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs such as PPM, rejection %, rework %, scrap %, customer complaints, COPQ, and process capability.
- Lead supplier quality activities, including supplier audits, incoming quality issues, and corrective actions.
- Support current product development through APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, and capability studies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO/IATF quality management requirements, depending on the industry.
- Conduct internal quality training for inspectors, operators, and production personnel.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and statistical quality tools.
- Prepare quality reports and present performance, issues, and improvement plans to management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
