Job Description Head Chef (Caf)

Experience: 2-7 Years

- Salary Budget: 40,000–45,000 per month (In-Hand)
- Location: Sector 61, Gurugram / Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Continental Cuisine: Solid hands-on experience in preparing Continental dishes is mandatory,

along with knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.

2. Food Preparation: Prepare dishes as per the caf menu, ensuring consistent taste, quality, and

timely service.

3. Food Presentation: Maintain proper plating, presentation, and portion control for all menu

items.

4. Kitchen Management: Independently manage daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth

workflow during peak hours.

5. Menu Development: Assist in menu planning, recipe standardization, and introducing new

dishes.

6. Team Supervision: Lead, train,



and supervise kitchen staff to maintain productivity and

discipline.

7. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, check ingredient

quality, and ensure timely procurement.

8. Cost & Wastage Control: Maintain food costing, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient use of

kitchen resources.

9. Hygiene & Food Safety: Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards, including

applicable FSSAI guidelines.

10. Communication & Personality: Good English communication skills, a well-groomed and

presentable personality, professional attitude, and strong teamwork skills are essential.Role & responsibilities
