Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Zabbix & Grafana Systems Monitoring Engineer to design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade monitoring and observability solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Zabbix monitoring, Grafana dashboards, alerting, API integrations, and automation scripting to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of IT infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Zabbix Server, Proxy, Agent, Agent2, and Web UI.
- Develop and customize Zabbix items, triggers, trigger expressions, templates, host groups, macros, and low-level discovery (LLD) rules.
- Configure monitoring for servers, networks, applications, databases, and infrastructure components using SNMP, IPMI, JMX, and agent-based monitoring.
- Manage Zabbix database backends, including MySQL,



MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Install, configure, and maintain Grafana in production environments.
- Integrate Zabbix with Grafana as a data source and develop interactive dashboards, panels, variables, and visualizations.
- Configure Grafana alerting rules, notification channels, plugins, data transformations, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Automate monitoring configurations, dashboard provisioning, and routine administrative tasks using Zabbix and Grafana APIs.
- Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot monitoring issues, optimize system performance, and ensure reliable alerting and reporting.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to improve monitoring coverage and operational visibility.
- Maintain monitoring documentation, configuration backups, and version control using Git.
