Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Erlang Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building, developing, and maintaining scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Erlang programming, Erlang/OTP, concurrent programming, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Erlang.
- Build scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant backend systems.
- Develop concurrent and distributed applications using Erlang/OTP.
- Work with OTP behaviours and components, including supervisors and applications.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Work with databases, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, deployments, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills
- 3-5 years of software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Erlang.
- Valuable understanding of Erlang/OTP and OTP behaviours.




- Experience building concurrent and distributed applications.
- Knowledge of fault-tolerant and highly available system design.
- Experience with REST APIs and backend service development.
- Understanding of database concepts, queries, and data modelling.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git, Linux, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with messaging systems and distributed data processing.
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud environments.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
