About Aqua Zoo

Aqua Zoo is a Chennai-based ornamental fish wholesale business supplying aquarium retailers and distributors. Our product range includes local and imported ornamental fish, aquarium supplies and SANSO aquarium care products.

Role Overview

We are seeking Marketing & Sales Executives to develop customer relationships and grow sales in their respective language markets. Separate candidates are welcome for Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada roles; applicants need proficiency in any one of these languages.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and approach aquarium retailers, wholesalers and distributors in the assigned market.
- Introduce Aqua Zoo’s products through calls, WhatsApp and other approved marketing channels.
- Share stock availability, price lists, new arrivals and promotional offers with customers.
- Understand customer requirements, recommend suitable products and convert enquiries into orders.
- Follow up with existing customers to generate repeat business and reactivate inactive accounts.
- Promote SANSO aquarium care products and develop dealer relationships.
- Coordinate with operations and dispatch teams to confirm availability and ensure accurate order processing.
- Communicate payment terms and coordinate payment confirmation before dispatch.
- Maintain customer records,



follow-up schedules, order details and daily sales reports.
- Gather market feedback on pricing, demand, competitors and customer concerns.
- Work towards agreed sales, customer acquisition and repeat-order targets.

Candidate Requirements

- Strong spoken communication in Hindi, Malayalam or Kannada, with the ability to read and write customer messages in the relevant language.
- Basic English communication and computer skills.
- Confidence in telephone sales, customer follow-ups and relationship management.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business, Excel or customer management tools.
- Positive negotiation, organisation and coordination skills.
- Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, distribution or retail account management preferred.
- Knowledge of ornamental fish or aquarium products is an advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and an interest in sales may apply.

Performance Measures

- Sales revenue and gross margin achieved against agreed targets.
- New active customers acquired.
- Enquiry-to-order conversion.
- Repeat orders and customer retention.
- Timely follow-ups and accurate reporting.

Compensation

Salary and performance incentives will be discussed based on experience and suitability.
