Car Mechanic – Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform regular servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related problems.
- Repair and replace faulty parts such as brakes, clutch, suspension, filters, and belts.
- Perform periodic maintenance services (PMS).
- Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests after repairs.
- Follow job cards and complete assigned work properly.
- Ensure quality work and timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area.
- Follow workshop safety and company standards.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Team Leaders.
- Minimize repeat repairs and customer complaints.
