- Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in day-to-day production and shop floor operations
- Learn to operate and monitor machines such as CNC, lathe, milling, press and welding equipment
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment
- Assist in inspection and quality checks using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and basic GD&T; symbols
- Record production, rejection and downtime data accurately
- Support 5S, Kaizen, safety and other continuous improvement activities
- Help prepare reports, work instructions and SOPs
- Follow safety rules and use PPE at all times
- Take part in training programs and complete assigned tasks and projects
