Job Overview

Delhi Eduskills is hiring an experienced and result-oriented Education Counsellor – Study Abroad Counsellors with strong experience in counselling and sales for Doctorate, Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Executive MBA, and other executive-level management programs.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in selling higher education programs and handling overseas education counselling, with good exposure to international universities, admission procedures, and student conversion. The candidate should be confident in engaging with working professionals, understanding their career aspirations, recommending suitable programs, and converting prospective leads into confirmed admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and working professionals regarding Doctorate, DBA, Executive MBA, and other executive education programs.
- Handle incoming enquiries, make outbound calls, follow up with prospective candidates, and convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Understand candidates' educational backgrounds, professional experience, and career goals to recommend suitable academic programs.
- Explain program structures, eligibility criteria, fees, duration, learning formats,



and admission procedures accurately.
- Handle Study Abroad enquiries and counsel students on international universities, courses, eligibility, and admission requirements.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of overseas universities, international education systems, and country-specific admission processes.
- Assist students with university shortlisting, application procedures, documentation, and admission follow-ups.
- Build trust with prospective students by providing accurate information and addressing their queries, concerns, and objections.
- Consistently achieve individual counselling, enrolment, and revenue targets.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and conversions in the CRM or relevant tracking system.
- Stay updated on new programs, university offerings, admission requirements, and developments in the international education sector.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; a Master's degree or MBA will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in education counselling, admissions, or education sales preferred.
- Proven experience in selling Doctorate, DBA, Executive MBA, or other executive management programs.
- Hands-on experience in Study Abroad / Overseas Education Counselling is essential.
- Positive exposure to international universities, overseas admissions, and application procedures.
- Strong sales, lead conversion, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to counsel working professionals, senior executives, graduates, and international education aspirants.
- Target-oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding enrolment targets.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the admission process.
