Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2–5 years in vessel manufacturing, tank fabrication, or heavy fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and monitor daily production activities to meet delivery schedules.
Supervise plate cutting, rolling, fit-up, welding, and assembly.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and BOMs.
Coordinate with QC, Stores, Procurement, and Design teams.
Ensure product quality, material utilization, and shop-floor safety.
Maintain production reports and monitor manpower productivity.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of vessel and heavy fabrication processes.
Positive drawing interpretation and shop-floor management skills.
Knowledge of ASME/API codes will be an advantage.
