- Read Blueprints & Drawings: Interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to assemble parts correctly.
- Component Assembly: Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery to build sub-assemblies or finished units (such as CNC/VMC machines, electrical panels, or conveyors).
- Alignment & Calibration: Adjust, align, and secure machine parts, guideways, ball screws, or wiring harnesses according to exact specifications.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products, run functional tests, and record inspection data or serial numbers to meet safety and quality standards.
- Maintenance & Inventory: Maintain tools, manage production floor inventory, and perform basic equipment upkeep
