- Material Sourcing & Procurement: Procure core construction materials including TMT steel, cement, sand, aggregates, ready-mix concrete (RMC), electrical, plumbing, and hardware items.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with reliable suppliers and subcontractors for the best pricing, credit terms, and quality.
- Purchase Orders (POs): Prepare, process, and track purchase orders accurately based on site requisitions and inventory needs.
- Site & Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with site managers, stores teams, and transport/logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery and prevent project delays.
- Quality & Bill Verification: Inspect material specifications upon arrival, reconcile delivery challans, and coordinate with accounts/finance for timely bill processing and vendor payments.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain purchase files, inventory records, market rate comparisons, and monthly MIS/variance reports for management.
