Job Title: Phlebotomist – Home Collection

Job Summary:

Responsible for collecting blood samples using Vacutainer, while maintaining high standards of hygiene, patient care, and timely transportation of samples to the laboratory. Key Responsibilities:

• Visit patients’ homes for sample collection as per the assigned schedule

• Perform blood collection using Vacutainer and other sample collection procedures safely and accurately

• Ensure proper labeling, barcoding, and documentation of samples

• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times

• Maintain cold chain and ensure timely delivery of samples to the laboratory

• Provide professional, courteous, and patient-friendly service

• Explain test procedures and fasting requirements to patients when required

• Collect payments (if applicable) and update status in the system/app





• Maintain daily collection reports and attendance records

• Coordinate with reporting teams to ensure smooth operations

Eligibility Criteria:

• DMLT / MLT certification (mandatory)

• Minimum 6 months of experience in Vacutainer blood collection (mandatory)

• Experience in home collection preferred

• Valuable communication skills

• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (preferred)

• Willingness to travel within assigned area (up to 15 km radius)

Key Skills:

• Strong Vacutainer blood collection skills

• Knowledge of sample handling, storage, and cold chain maintenance

• Customer service orientation

• Basic knowledge of mobile apps and data entry

• Good time management and punctuality
