Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python + React)

Location: Bengaluru, India (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in both Python backend development and React.js frontend engineering to build and scale high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing scalable backend services, developing modern frontend applications, and delivering reliable, production-grade solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on large-scale distributed systems and real-time applications is highly valued. Prior experience within Uber or familiarity with similar large-scale platform ecosystems is strongly preferred to enable rapid onboarding and accelerated delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
- Build, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.




- Develop and support real-time communication systems using Web Sockets.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, security, and scalability of backend systems.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, caching systems, and distributed architectures.
- Drive performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

Frontend Development

- Design and develop high-quality web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable UI components and frontend libraries for scalable development.
- Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and real-time data streams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.
- Expert-level experience with React.js and modern Java Script (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience building REST APIs and microservices architectures.
- Solid understanding of Web Sockets and real-time application development.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3,



and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability architectures.
- Experience building, deploying, and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior Uber experience (strongly preferred).
- Experience with Fusion.js or similar modern frontend frameworks.
- Familiarity with internal platform standards and large-scale engineering environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering practices.
