Role Title:Principal Engineer

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Developer with58 years of relevant experience to design, develop, test, deploy, andsupport extensions, integrations,reports, dataconversions, and process automation across Oracle Financials, Procurement,Supply Chain Management, and Project Portfolio Management. The developer will own assigned technical deliverables independently, work with minimal guidance, and collaborate with functional, integration, security, testing, and operations teams.

The role requireshands-on proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud development tools and frameworks, including Visual Builder Studio,Application Composer, Page Composer, Groovy scripting,Oracle Integration Cloud, REST and SOAP services,BI Publisher,OTBI,BICC, Enterprise Scheduler Service, FBDI, andrelatedreportingand data-loadingtechnologies.

The successful candidate will translate approved functional and technical designs into secure, scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe solutions; estimate and plan assigned work; communicate risks early; and take ownership through production support and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Fusion Extensions & Custom Development:

- Develop and maintain Oracle Fusion ERP extensions using Application Composer, Page Composer, Visual Builder Studio, supported ADF-based extension patterns, sandbox customizations, and Groovy scripting.
- Configure and extend standard Oracle Fusion objects, pages, business processes, descriptive flexfields, extensible flexfields, and custom attributes.
- Implement validations, object workflows, business rules, and user-interface extensions from approved designs.
- Complete assigned development independently with minimal guidance, following coding, security, documentation, and upgrade-safety standards.




- Perform unit testing, peer review, defect resolution, and technical documentation for delivered components.

Groovy Development & Advanced Business Rules:

- Develop Groovy-based validations, defaulting logic, calculations, and automation within supported Oracle Fusion frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into maintainable rules with clear error handling and user messages.
- Troubleshoot and optimize scripts for correctness, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Document assumptions, dependencies, test scenarios, and deployment steps for custom business logic.

ESS Job Scheduling & Process Automation:

- Configure, schedule, monitor, and support Enterprise Scheduler Service jobs and related batch processes.
- Maintain job parameters, schedules, dependencies, and restart or recovery procedures.
- Investigate job failures, analyze logs, resolve defects, and communicate operational impacts.
- Create reusable, parameter-driven batch components where appropriate.

Integration Development:

- Develop and support integrations between Oracle Fusion ERP and internal or external applications using Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, SOAP web services, business events, and file-based patterns.
- Create mappings, transformations, validations, error handling, retries, and monitoring for real-time and batch interfaces.
- Build reusable components in accordance with approved integration architecture and security standards.
- Troubleshoot interface failures and coordinate resolution with functional, middleware, source-system, and support teams.

Data Migration & Conversion:

- Develop and execute assigned data-conversion components for financial, supplier, customer, project, asset, procurement, or supply-chain data.
- Use FBDI templates, supported import services, and bulk-loading frameworks to prepare and load data.
- Perform extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, defect correction, and reload activities.
- Create repeatable conversion utilities, controls, reconciliation reports, and execution documentation.
- Support mock conversions, cutover rehearsals, production cutover, and post-load validation.

Data Extraction & Enterprise Reporting:

BICC & Data Extracts:

- Configure and monitor Oracle BI Cloud Connector extracts for approved downstream reporting and analytics requirements.
- Implement full and incremental extraction schedules, validate output, and resolve data or performance issues.
- Coordinate extract dependencies and handoffs with data warehouse, data lake, integration, and analytics teams.

Reporting & Analytics:





- Develop BI Publisher reports, OTBI analyses, data models, bursting configurations, dashboards, and custom extracts.
- Create operational, audit, reconciliation, and exception reports that support business processes, integration, and conversions.
- Validate report accuracy, security, performance, scheduling, distribution, and production readiness.

ERP Technical Development:

- Deliver technical solutions in one or more Oracle Fusion ERP areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Project Portfolio Management.
- Analyze assigned requirements, clarify gaps, estimate development effort, and complete work within agreed milestones.
- Develop approval workflows, process automations, reusable components, technical specifications, and support documentation.
- Participate in solution reviews and raise design, security, data, performance, or supportability risks promptly.
- Support testing, defect triage, releases, production incidents, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Dev SecOps & Deployment:

- Participate in release planning, code reviews, migration, deployment, smoke testing, and stabilization across environments.
- Use version control, branching, build, and CI/CD practices defined by the program.
- Follow enterprise security, access-control, audit, data-privacy, and change-management requirements.
- Maintain technical designs, configuration records, release notes, runbooks, and handoff documentation.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience:

- 10+ years of overall ERP & Web application development experience.
- 5-8 years of ERP technical development experience, including substantial hands-on work with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Experience delivering extensions, integrations, reports, data conversions, and batch processes through at least one Oracle Fusion ERP implementation or major enhancement lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze requirements, estimate work, develop and test solutions, troubleshooting defects, and complete assigned deliverables independently with minimal guidance.
- Practical experience in one or more Oracle Fusion ERP modules and strong SQL, data analysis, debugging, and technical documentation skills.
- Experience working within structured software development, testing, release, change-management, and production-support processes.
- Relevant Oracle certification pathssuch as an Oracle Integration Cloud Specialist credential or related Oracle Cloud skilled certificationare an added advantage.

Education and Certifications:

- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, Java, or AI certifications are a plus.
