Chennai, India (in office, not remote) Compensation: $15 USD per hour Required: Overlap with US Pacific business hours About Drip Drip (dripshop.live) is a gamified commerce platform for Pokémon, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, and sports cards. Collectors open Instant Packs backed by real graded cards in our vault, compete in Pack Battles, and buy and sell through livestreams, auctions, and a marketplace. We're a small, profitable team using AI throughout our engineering workflow. We're looking for a senior engineer in Chennai who can turn a product idea into a reliable feature across React and Node.js, from the first prototype through launch and iteration. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role with meaningful input into the product and responsibility for how your work performs in production. What you'll own You'll work closely with product and design to shape and ship features end to end. Take Pack Battles, where two players open Instant Packs head to head and the best pull wins both cards. On a feature like this, you would:
- Design the data model and APIs, then build the frontend, real-time updates, and payment flow.
- Create a usable prototype independently and collaborate with our designer to refine the experience.
- Test critical flows and failure cases, deploy safely, and monitor production behavior.

experience:
6+ years building production software, including 4+ years of hands-on experience with React and Node.js/TypeScript.
- Systems judgment: You design clear data models and APIs, understand race conditions, idempotency, and consistency,



and can explain the tradeoffs behind your decisions.
- Effective AI-assisted development: You use Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools daily for development and review. You understand their limitations and can explain, debug, and validate the code you ship.
- Product sense: You can turn a loosely defined problem into a usable feature, identify missing requirements, and make thoughtful decisions about scope and UX.
- Ownership of quality: You review code critically, write meaningful unit and integration tests, and use monitoring and failure handling to keep features reliable.
- Clear communication: You raise questions and tradeoffs early and work effectively with engineering, product, design, and business teammates across India and the US.

You live in or can commute daily to our Chennai location, and you can work hours that overlap with US Pacific business hours. Collectibles knowledge (strongly preferred) You collect or trade TCG or sports cards and understand grading, sealed products versus singles, and how cards are priced. Helpful experience Experience with payments, marketplaces, real-time systems, background jobs, or search is valuable. Web3 experience with Solana or EVM, native iOS/Android development, or AWS infrastructure is a bonus. Our stack Our core web platform uses TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS, with Stripe and PayPal for payments and Agora for live video. Beyond the core React/Node/TypeScript requirements, familiarity with the rest of the stack is helpful. To apply Send: 1.
