Role Description The Sr. Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledger entries, reviewing journal vouchers, and ensuring accurate posting of financial transactions. The Sr. Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, monitor cash flow, handle accounts payable and receivable, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and internal controls, as well as coordinating with auditors and cross-functional teams. The Sr. Accountant will also support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to management,



and contribute to the improvement of processes and systems. Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in core accounting functions such as general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including tax compliance, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience using accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and the ability to work with financial data and reports.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to interpret financial trends and variances.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners such as auditors.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and operate independently in a rapid-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead accounting role, preferably in manufacturing, retail, or related industries.
