As we continue to expand our field operations, we are looking for technically capable and responsible Field Technicians who understand the importance of safety, workmanship and customer satisfaction.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking experienced Field Technicians – Installation, Service & Maintenance to support our ongoing and upcoming elevator projects in Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with elevators or escalators, sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to execute assigned work safely and efficiently.

Candidates may specialise in Installation or Service & Maintenance, depending on their previous experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Installation & Commissioning

- Assist in the installation, assembly, testing and commissioning of elevators.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical installation activities according to approved drawings and technical instructions.
- Work on guide rails, car and counterweight assemblies, landing doors, motors, wiring and associated components.
- Coordinate with installation supervisors and engineers to meet project timelines.
- Identify installation-related issues and report them promptly.

2. Service & Preventive Maintenance

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and routine inspections of elevator systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and operational faults.
- Attend breakdown calls and support timely restoration of equipment.




- Inspect door mechanisms, controllers, safety circuits, motors and other critical components.
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance checklists and breakdown reports.

3. Technical Troubleshooting

- Demonstrate working knowledge of elevator mechanical and electrical systems.
- Identify faults involving door operations, controllers, sensors, drive systems and safety mechanisms.
- Read basic wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with senior engineers for complex troubleshooting and technical escalations.

4. Safety & Quality Compliance

- Follow prescribed safety procedures, including PPE usage and safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable elevator safety standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain site cleanliness, equipment safety and professional conduct.
- Report unsafe site conditions, technical concerns and quality deviations immediately.

5. Reporting & Field Coordination

- Maintain daily work progress reports and service documentation.
- Update assigned tasks and work completion details through the company ERP/FieldCircle system.
- Coordinate with supervisors, project engineers, customers and site representatives.
- Ensure timely attendance reporting and proper documentation of field activities.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- ITI – Electrician, Fitter, Electronics or related technical trade.
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering will be an advantage.
- Relevant hands-on elevator industry experience is particularly important.

TECHNICAL SKILLS





- Practical understanding of elevator installation and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, motor systems and basic control circuits.
- Familiarity with elevator door systems, safety circuits and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to use basic electrical and mechanical testing tools.
- Familiarity with VVVF drives, gearless machines, ARD systems and contemporary elevator controllers will be an added advantage.
- Ability to follow technical drawings, site instructions and safety protocols.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE We would particularly welcome candidates who:

- Have previously worked with an elevator manufacturer, installation contractor or lift maintenance company.
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant field experience.
- Are comfortable working independently or under the guidance of a technical supervisor.
- Demonstrate discipline, punctuality and a safety-first approach.
- Can communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.
- Are willing to travel locally to assigned project and service locations.
- Are comfortable using mobile-based attendance and task-reporting applications.
