We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Workday Extend Analyst to join our enterprise HR Technology team. This role will support the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Workday Extend applications that enhance business processes, improve user experiences, and drive automation across our global Workday ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Workday Extend development, a foundational understanding of Workday HCM, and a passion for solving business challenges through technology. This position offers an opportunity to work with experienced Workday professionals while contributing to enterprise-wide HR technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Extend Application Development

- Develop, configure, test, and support Workday Extend applications based on business and technical requirements.




- Build user interfaces, page layouts, and application logic using Workday Extend development tools.
- Support application development using Workday Extend components, Workday data sources, and APIs.
- Assist in building automated workflows and business solutions using Workday Extend and Workday Orchestrate.
- Identify opportunities to simplify manual processes and enhance existing Workday capabilities.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

- Investigate and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications and associated integrations.
- Perform unit testing, support system integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Monitor application functionality, troubleshoot errors, and support ongoing improvements.
- Work with senior developers and functional analysts to resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain application documentation, technical specifications, and testing evidence.

Integration & Workday Ecosystem

- Support integration of Workday Extend applications with Workday HCM and external enterprise systems.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON, Workday Web Services, and Workday security configurations.
- Develop a foundational understanding of Workday business processes, reporting, and integration architecture.
- Collaborate with Workday functional, integration, reporting, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement





- Partner with HR Technology stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into application enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, development reviews, and solution discussions.
- Follow established development standards, documentation requirements, and change management processes.
- Stay informed about new Workday Extend and Workday Orchestrate capabilities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience developing or supporting Workday Extend applications.
- Working knowledge of Workday Extend development tools, application components, and deployment processes.
- Foundational understanding of Workday HCM architecture, business processes, and security.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web services.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Effective communication and ability to collaborate with technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Workday Orchestrate or Workday Integration Cloud.
- Familiarity with Workday Studio, EIB, or Workday reporting.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or other programming languages.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Exposure to enterprise HR technology projects and global Workday deployments.
