White Bull Solutions LLP is looking for an experienced UK Year-End Accountant to join our UK Accounting team in Ahmedabad.

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience preparing year-end accounts for UK businesses. The role involves preparing financial statements, reviewing trial balances, making year-end adjustments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of client work.

Candidates must have practical UK Accounting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage year-end accounts work within client deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare year-end accounts for UK businesses, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as applicable.
- Prepare financial statements using client bookkeeping records and trial balances.
- Review trial balances and general ledger accounts before preparing year-end accounts.
- Identify and post year-end adjustments, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation and journal entries.
- Perform bank, control account and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding accounting queries.
- Prepare supporting schedules and working papers for year-end accounts.
- Review bookkeeping records to identify missing information, errors and inconsistencies.
- Apply relevant UK accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate working papers and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with team members and clients to obtain missing information.
- Ensure year-end accounts are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.




- Manage multiple client files and track the progress of assigned work.
- Maintain quality and consistency across accounting deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and work efficiency.

Requirements

- Hands-on UK year-end accounts preparation experience is mandatory.
- Practical experience preparing or reviewing year-end accounts for UK businesses.
- Good understanding of UK accounting practices and statutory accounts requirements.
- Knowledge of trial balances, journal entries, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
- Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies independently.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or FreeAgent.
- Working knowledge of accounts preparation software such as IRIS or TaxCalc is an advantage.
- Robust attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client files and meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.

Shift Timing: 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM IST

Working Days: Monday to Friday

ImportantCandidates must have hands-on UK year-end accounts preparation experience. General accounting experience without relevant UK year-end accounts experience will not be sufficient for this role.

This is a Work From Office position in Ahmedabad. Candidates must be comfortable working from our office during the specified UK shift.
