About the Role
Additive Ventures is looking for a Trainer who enjoys teaching and making technology accessible to students. The role involves delivering engaging, practical sessions in AI, drones, robotics, and 3D printing, with preparation and technical support from the team.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate workshops for school and college students.
- Explain technical concepts through demonstrations and hands-on activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, activity sheets, and assessments.
- Manage classroom participation, timing, and student engagement.
- Coordinate with technical support interns to prepare equipment.
- Assess student understanding and provide constructive feedback.
- Collect feedback from schools and improve training materials.
- Enforce safety procedures during practical sessions and demonstrations.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of teaching, tutoring, workshop facilitation, or training experience.
- Strong presentation, communication, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain concepts clearly to different age groups.
- Interest in STEM education and willingness to learn our modules.
- Relevant qualification in education, engineering, science, computer applications, or a related field.
- STEM, robotics, coding, or maker education experience is preferred.
- Availability for full-time work and travel to workshop venues in Chennai.
