Role Description The Technology Transfer Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Thiruporur. This role is responsible for coordinating the transfer of technologies from Research and Development (R&D;) to manufacturing, ensuring processes are scalable, compliant, and efficient. Daily activities include reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, preparing technology transfer protocols, conducting lab and pilot trials, and supporting process validation activities.





The specialist collaborates closely with R&D;, production, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize processes, and maintain adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role also involves documenting transfer outcomes, training relevant teams on new processes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Technology Transfer, including protocol development and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) and Research activities related to chemical or process industries.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills such as experimental design, data collection, and interpretation.
- Solid understanding of Valuable Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and related quality and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical field.
- Ability to analyze process data, solve technical problems, and optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and operations teams.
- Attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and commitment to safety and compliance.
- Experience in scale-up, process validation, or industrial technology transfer in chemicals or allied sectors is an advantage.
