Role Description The Technical Mentor (DSA) will provide structured guidance and instruction in Data Structures and Algorithms to learners preparing for technical roles. This full-time, in office position is based in Vellore, where the mentor will conduct interactive classes, clarify concepts, and solve coding problems live with students. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering sessions, designing practice problems and assignments, reviewing learner submissions, and offering detailed feedback to improve problem-solving skills.

The mentor will also support doubt resolution, run mock interviews and coding contests, and collaborate with the academic team to refine curriculum and learning materials.



The role involves closely tracking student progress and using performance data to personalize mentoring so learners are ready for rigorous technical interviews.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms, including arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, hashing, dynamic programming, recursion, and complexity analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in coding interviews Java, with experience solving problems on coding platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, structured manner and guide learners with varying skill levels.
- Experience designing or delivering technical training, workshops, bootcamps, or mentoring programs related to interview preparation or competitive programming.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive mentoring style.
- Ability to create and refine learning materials, problem sets, and assessments that align with current industry and placement requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in software development or technical teaching.
- Familiarity with software engineering interview processes at product-based or large IT companies; prior industry or coaching experience is an added advantage.
