- Location: Saint Gobain, Chennai (Travel across India based on requirement) Education: BE/ME – CSE/ECE/EEE/IT Experience: >5 years

Domain knowledge: Vision systems, cameras/imaging devices, Python programming in OpenCV, TensorFlow, ML/DL, Gen AI, MLops, IT/OT CV project deployment.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision or machine vision systems, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial inspection environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Practical experience with computer vision libraries/frameworks: OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow, scikit-image.
- Experience with object detection/segmentation architectures (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN, U-Net, Mask R-CNN).
- Understanding of imaging hardware: industrial cameras, lenses, lighting techniques, and frame grabbers.




- Experience deploying models on edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson, industrial PCs) for real-time inference.
- Familiarity with communication protocols used in manufacturing (OPC-UA, Modbus, PLC integration).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working on the factory floor.
- Working experience with MLops, Gen AI is a must.
- Knowledge about PCB Design, CAD is a plus.
- A solid passion to towards technology and entrepreneurial attitude

- Develop, deploy and maintain vision-based quality systems used by the whole of Saint-Gobain in India.
- Roll out similar systems to customers across the globe.
- Understanding the functional domain deeply.
