Role

Owns the reference architecture, non-functional requirements and technology standards; approves all module designs; leads architecture reviews and ADRs; mentors Grade II architects and technical leads.

Must-have skills

· Domain-driven design and service decomposition (modular monolith → microservices roadmap)

· Polyglot service architecture: Java / Spring Boot 3+ and Python / FastAPI under common standards

· Event-driven architecture on Kafka: topic design, schema registry, transactional outbox, sagas, idempotent consumers, DLQ

· Identity and access: OAuth2 / OIDC (Keycloak / Cognito), RBAC / ABAC, API gateway patterns

· PostgreSQL data architecture incl. multi-tenancy, audit tables, CDC (Debezium); OpenSearch incl. vector search

· AWS Well-Architected on EKS, RDS, MSK, S3, CloudFront, IAM / KMS; VPC design; DR with defined RPO / RTO

· REST / OpenAPI 3 API design; AI architecture (LLM integration, RAG, guardrails)

· Security architecture (OWASP ASVS,



zero-trust, PII tokenisation, PCI-DSS scope, CERT-In); performance engineering for peak loads

· Architecture communication: C4 diagrams, ADRs, threat models, NFR matrices

Good to have

React front-end architecture; offline-first counter apps; legacy ERP migration; India Stack (Aadhaar e-KYC, UPI, DigiLocker, eSign); GPU / LLM serving.

Interview – In person only

· Process: offline test, technical interview and walkthrough of your own work – same day. Whiteboard architecture of a given module with Kafka, PostgreSQL and AWS topology; NFR trade-off interview; walkthrough of an architecture and ADR set you authored.

· Bring your own laptop (16 GB RAM, SSD, with tools for your track installed)

· Bring originals: photo ID, education certificates, appointment and relieving letters, EPFO service history
