Hiring: Snowflake Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW). The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions and transformation pipelines for enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
- Build and maintain reusable data transformation models using dbt.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformations.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Work with EDW architecture, dimensional modeling, fact/dimension tables, and Star/Snowflake schemas.
- Optimize Snowflake queries and workloads for performance and efficient resource utilization.
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation, validation, and testing.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline and performance issues and perform root-cause analysis.




- Follow version-control and CI/CD practices for data development and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, BI, and business teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex query development and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with dbt, including models, tests, macros, and transformations.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) concepts and architecture.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and CI/CD practices.

Good to Have

- Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Snowflake capabilities such as Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, cloning, and role-based access control.
- Exposure to BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
