The platform helps merchants achieve around 21% average cart recovery and 60% COD confirmation, driving measurable impact on revenue and customer engagement. Updatrr focuses on quick deployment, with most stores going live within 20–30 minutes. As a growing company in the e-commerce enablement space, Updatrr offers opportunities to work closely with innovative merchants, data-driven marketing, and customer-centric product development. Role Description The Marketing and Business Development Intern will work full time on-site at the Updatrr office in Gurgaon. In this role, the intern will assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives, including online campaigns, content support, and WhatsApp-based outreach to Shopify merchants. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and competitor research, identifying potential merchant leads, supporting sales outreach, and helping maintain relationships with existing clients.



The intern will collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to refine positioning, prepare presentations, and gather feedback from merchants to support product and go-to-market decisions. The role also involves basic reporting on campaign performance and contributing ideas to improve customer acquisition and retention. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with merchants and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills to analyze trends, competitors, and customer segments.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to support lead generation, outreach, and follow-ups with potential clients.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, or SaaS products is beneficial.
• Ability to work in office in Gurgaon in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and online communication platforms is an advantage.
