THE ROLE We're looking for a Design Engineer – HVAC to join our MEP design team in Bangalore. You'll design HVAC systems for commercial interior fit-out and D&B; projects — load calculations, equipment selection, ducting and piping layouts — and work closely with architecture, structure, other MEP disciplines and site teams to make sure what gets designed actually gets built. Strong hands-on HVAC design experience and a solid grip on codes and standards matter more here than years on paper.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design HVAC systems for commercial interior and D&B; projects — AC, ventilation and allied works Carry out heat load calculations and equipment sizing / selection Develop ducting, piping and equipment layouts in AutoCAD / Revit MEP Prepare HVAC drawings, schematics, schedules and specifications Select and specify VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, chillers, fans and other HVAC equipment Coordinate HVAC design with architecture, structure, electrical, plumbing and fire protection Review vendor drawings, technical submittals and equipment datasheets Support tendering,



BOQ preparation and technical evaluation of HVAC vendors Resolve site queries and support execution teams during installation Keep designs compliant with applicable codes, standards and energy efficiency norms WHAT MATTERS MOST FOR THIS ROLE WHAT YOU'LL BRING 6+ years in HVAC design, ideally on commercial interior fit-out or D&B; projects B.

Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Strong hands-on experience with heat load calculations and HVAC system design Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus Solid understanding of HVAC equipment, ducting and piping design principles Familiar with applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, NBC, ECBC or local equivalents) Comfortable coordinating design across multiple disciplines Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset Valuable communication skills to work with clients, consultants and vendors TOOLS YOU'LL USE AutoCAD Revit MEP Heat Load / HAP Software PREFERRED INDUSTRY BACKGROUND Commercial Interiors Workplace Design & Build MS Excel & Office BOQ Tools Commercial Buildings Architecture & Engineering Consultancy MEP / HVAC Consultanc
