Role Description The Article Assistant role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Article Assistant will support audit teams in performing statutory, tax, and internal audits, including vouching, verification of balances, and documentation of working papers. Daily tasks include assisting in preparation and review of financial statements, performing basic accounting and analytical procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The role also involves coordinating with clients for information, maintaining organized audit files, and contributing to reports and schedules under the guidance of seniors.



Article Assistants are expected to actively participate in learning, stay updated on auditing and accounting standards, and adhere to the firm’s quality and ethical practices. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in accounting, auditing principles, and basic taxation concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and comfort with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Ability to work diligently under supervision, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
• Enrollment in or completion of a professional course such as CA (Article training) or an equivalent accounting program is preferred.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
