Role Description We are looking for an OPERA PMS / OWS Integration Specialist for a part-time, remote, project-based engagement. The role involves establishing and troubleshooting connectivity between DigiGo's cloud-based platform and legacy, on-premise Oracle MICROS OPERA PMS 5 installations using OPERA Web Services (OWS). You will work with existing hotel systems, assess OWS licensing and configuration, troubleshoot OEDS and IIS environments, validate SOAP/XML communication, and coordinate with hotel IT teams to establish secure and reliable integrations. Resposibilities
• Assess existing OPERA PMS 5, OWS, and OEDS configurations.
• Troubleshoot OWS licensing, service availability, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and validate SOAP/XML-based integrations and service endpoints.
• Investigate IIS, Windows Server, authentication, and network connectivity issues.




• Coordinate with hotel IT teams to establish secure connectivity between on-premise systems and cloud applications.
• Test integrations, document configurations, and provide clear progress updates. Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Oracle MICROS OPERA PMS 5, particularly legacy or on-premise installations.
• Practical experience with OPERA Web Services (OWS) and, ideally, OPERA Electronic Distribution Suite (OEDS).
• Familiarity with SOAP, XML, APIs, and web service integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft IIS, Windows Server, and troubleshooting service endpoints.
• Understanding of authentication, network connectivity, firewalls, and secure cloud-to-on-premise communication.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience integrating third-party applications with hotel PMS systems is a solid advantage. Engagement Details
