THE ROLE – VMC / CNC Programmer We are looking for an experienced VMC / CNC Programmer with strong hands-on expertise in SolidCAM programming, primarily for VMC milling, along with CNC turning knowledge. The role involves developing, simulating, proving out and optimizing CNC programs; performing 4th and 5th Axis programming; selecting cutting tools and fixtures; interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T; and troubleshooting machining issues. The candidate will work with design, quality and production teams, support operators and setters, optimize cycle times, and help ensure dimensional accuracy, machining efficiency and production quality. Experience with Fanuc controls,



Siemens Sinumerik 828D turning controls, and difficult-to-machine materials such as Inconel, Hastelloy-X, Monel and stainless steels will be advantageous. QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma / B.
E. / B.
Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–10 years of relevant CNC/VMC programming and machining experience.
• Robust hands-on SolidCAM experience, especially VMC milling.
• Knowledge of 4th and 5th Axis programming.
• Working knowledge of CNC turning, Siemens 828D and Fanuc controls.
• Good understanding of G & M codes, GD&T;, engineering drawings, tooling, fixtures and workholding.
• Practical shop-floor experience in program prove-out, troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Ability to coordinate with production, quality and design teams and guide shop-floor personnel. KEY SKILLS
