Position Name - Principal Officer

Location - Gift City, Gandhinagar

Experience Range - 5+ yrs

Mandatory Requirement:

- Robust technical expertise in fund accounting and investor reporting

- Ability to liaise and report effectively with regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to all compliance and reporting requirements

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Fund Accounting & Operations Oversight

- Oversee end-to-end fund accounting, including NAV calculations, expense accruals, and investor allocations for AIF Category II strategies

- Ensure accurate and timely portfolio valuation and financial reporting in compliance with IFSCA and SEBI AIF regulations

- Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, and portfolio teams for seamless fund operations

2. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- Act as the Principal Officer for regulatory interactions with IFSCA and other authorities

- Ensure timely filings, disclosures, and regulatory reporting as per applicable norms

3. Investor Servicing & Reporting
- Oversee investor onboarding, KYC/AML checks, and ongoing monitoring





- Ensure timely and accurate investor communications, including capital calls, distributions, and periodic reporting

4. Process Improvement & Controls
- Develop, review, and enhance SOPs for fund operations, accounting, and compliance

- Identify process gaps and implement best practices in controls, reconciliations, and reporting

5. Audit, Taxation & Coordination
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax filings

- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and consultants to ensure correct tax treatment of fund transactions and investor distributions

- Qualification and Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and/or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute

- 6–8+ years of experience in fund accounting, operations, and regulatory reporting for AIF Category II.

- Strong familiarity with the IFSCA regulatory framework and fund setup/compliance in GIFT City is highly preferred
