Role summary

We are looking for an SAP CPI Senior Developer / Consultant to design, build and lead integrations across SAP Sales Cloud (v1 and v2), SAP Engagement Cloud and SAP ECC. You will set the technical direction on SAP Cloud Integration, work directly with clients, and mentor junior CPI developers.

Key responsibilities

- Design and build SAP CPI integrations between SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Engagement Cloud and SAP ECC.
- Lead the technical design and delivery of iFlows, from interface specification through build, testing and cutover.
- Design APIs for master data synchronisation, such as customer master, with payload validation, error handling and multi-system response coordination.
- Work with clients and business stakeholders to shape requirements, explain options and agree solutions.
- Lead, mentor and review the work of junior CPI developers.
- Own production support: monitor message processing, troubleshoot failures and reprocess messages.
- Build standards and best practices for CPI design & development
- Document high level & detailed designs for the build work
- Ability to triage the business requirements and convert them to integration requirement pipeline





Must-have skills and experience
- Must have 5+ years experience in leading integration delivery teams
- Hands-on experience developing SAP CPI integrations across SAP Sales Cloud v1/v2, SAP Engagement Cloud and SAP ECC.
- Good knowledge of the capabilities of SAP Sales Cloud, SAP ECC and SAP Engagement Cloud.
- Experience working directly with clients: leading discussions, managing expectations and presenting solutions.
- Experience leading and mentoring junior CPI developers.

Technical skills

- Integration design: cloud-to-on-premise iFlow architecture and multi-adapter scenarios using REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, JMS and AMQP.
- Transformation: Groovy scripting for energetic transformations, message mapping and payload validation.
- Error handling: robust exception handling, alerting and reprocessing design.
- Operations: monitoring CPI message processing and troubleshooting JMS, IDoc, mapping and authentication failures.

Nice to have

- SAP PI/PO delivery: A2A and B2B interfaces
- Integration of non-SAP platforms such as Zendesk with SAP ECC, sitecore with CDP
