About the RoleDHSS Wellness India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Executive / Sales Officer to drive business growth for our Diaper and Toothbrush categories across Assam and the North-Eastern states.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the regional FMCG market, established distributor and retailer relationships, and proven experience in distribution management and territory development.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned territory to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop, appoint and manage distributors, stockists, wholesalers and retail partners.
- Expand market presence and distribution networks across Assam and the Seven Sisters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors and key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase product penetration across general trade and relevant retail channels.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance, stock availability, product visibility and competitor activities.
- Ensure effective product placement, shelf visibility and implementation of promotional schemes.
- Monitor distributor inventory, order fulfilment, outstanding payments and sales performance.
- Develop territory plans, beat plans and sales forecasts to maximize market coverage.
- Track competitor pricing, product offerings and market trends and provide regular feedback to management.




- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatches, stock replenishment and customer requirements.
- Submit regular sales reports, market updates and progress against targets.

Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in Baby Care, Diapers, Oral Care, Toothbrushes, Personal Care or Hygiene products.
- Strong knowledge of the Assam and North-East Indian markets.
- Existing relationships with regional distributors, wholesalers and retailers will be a strong advantage.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding distribution networks.
- Hands-on experience in primary sales, secondary sales, distributor management and general trade.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage the assigned territory and undertake extensive field travel.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
- Graduation in any discipline is preferred.

Preferred Candidate ProfileWe are looking for a self-driven sales skilled who understands the North-East market, has a strong local distribution network, and can independently develop and grow our diaper and toothbrush business across the region.

Experience handling multiple districts or states within North-East India will be an added advantage.
