Through its large network of over 1.3 million merchants and nanopreneurs, known as Spice Money Adhikaris, the company delivers essential financial and e-retail services to remote villages across the country. Using advanced technology, the Spice Money Adhikari App and web portal provide services such as cash deposits, Aadhaar-based withdrawals, mini ATM facilities, bill payments, recharges, money transfers, loans, and travel bookings.

Money now covers 95% of rural pin codes in India, aiming to be the largest “Fintech for Good” platform and to bring real, positive change to the lives of its customers and Adhikaris. The company also operates an Open Network for Assisted Digital Distribution, integrating multiple partners to deliver last-mile services through its extensive on-ground network.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Sales Associate role based in the Greater Patna Area.

The Sales

Associate will engage with local merchants and potential Spice Money Adhikaris to promote Spice Money’s digital and financial services, explain product features, and support onboarding.

Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships in assigned territories, conducting regular field visits, and identifying new business opportunities in rural and semi-urban markets.



The role involves achieving sales targets, providing product demonstrations, collecting feedback from customers and partners, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve service issues.

The Sales

Associate will also support periodic promotional campaigns, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to expanding Spice Money’s presence at the last mile.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, preferably in fintech, financial services, or FMCG.
- Candidates should possess excellent customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to explain digital financial products clearly to diverse rural and semi-urban audiences.
- Candidates should possess basic digital and financial literacy, including comfort with mobile apps, web portals, and common financial transactions.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage field activities, handle issues in real time, and meet defined targets.
- Minimum qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Patna Area, travel within assigned regions, and communicate in local languages as well as basic English or Hindi.
- Prior experience in field sales, rural marketing, or working with agent networks is an advantage.
