Role Description The Sales Attendant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur.

The Sales

Attendant will assist customers in selecting books, stationery, and paper products, providing accurate product information and guiding them to suitable options. Daily tasks include arranging and replenishing stock on shelves, maintaining cleanliness and order in the store, and managing basic billing and cash-handling at the counter. The role also involves checking inventory levels, reporting low-stock items, and supporting the team during peak hours.

The Sales

Attendant will be expected to follow store policies,



support smooth store operations, and offer courteous, professional service to all customers.

Qualifications

- Customer service and sales support skills, including the ability to interact politely with diverse customers and assist with product selection.
- Basic retail operations skills such as cash handling, billing, and familiarity with point-of-sale procedures.
- Organizational skills for stocking, arranging merchandise, and maintaining a neat, safe store environment.
- Communication skills in clear spoken English and local languages to provide product information and respond to customer queries.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle light physical tasks such as lifting and moving stock, and follow safety guidelines.
- Prior experience in retail, bookstore, or stationery sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Minimum educational qualification of high school completion (or equivalent); additional training in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and follow company procedures.
