Role Description The Safety Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune District.

The Safety

Officer will oversee health, safety, and security practices across interior and civil project sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing preventive measures to reduce risks. The role involves investigating accidents and incidents, preparing reports, and recommending corrective actions.

The Safety





Officer will deliver safety training and awareness sessions to site staff and contractors, maintain safety documentation, coordinate with project managers, and support continuous improvement in safety culture.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Health & Safety and Occupational Health.
- Proficiency in Accident Investigation, incident reporting, and root cause analysis.
- Experience in Security management related to construction and interior project sites.
- Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training and toolbox talks.
- Relevant diploma or degree in occupational safety, industrial safety, or a related field; recognized safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with local safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Strong observation, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence secure behavior on site.
- Experience working in construction, civil, or interior contracting environments is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently on multiple sites within Pune District.
