Job SummaryWe are looking for a Process Excellence & Change Management Consultant to support a banking client in streamlining business operations and driving digital transformation. The role involves gathering requirements from banking stakeholders, analysing existing processes, developing and aligning Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and designing process workflows in coordination with the software and implementation teams.

The ideal candidate will have robust banking domain knowledge, expertise in process improvement, SOP development, workflow design, and the ability to translate business requirements into technology-aligned processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with banking officials and business stakeholders to gather operational requirements, understand existing processes, and identify process gaps.
- Conduct As-Is process assessments and develop To-Be process models to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Develop, review, and align SOPs, process flows, layouts, and operational guidelines in accordance with banking requirements and regulatory standards.
- Identify process inefficiencies, redundancies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for standardization, automation, and digital transformation.
- Coordinate with software development and implementation teams to ensure business processes, SOPs, and workflows align with software functionalities and system capabilities.
- Translate banking business requirements into clear process documentation, functional requirements, and implementation inputs.
- Facilitate discussions between banking stakeholders and technology teams to resolve process gaps, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment.




- Support change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, process adoption, and implementation readiness.
- Assist in validating redesigned workflows and system processes through reviews, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing (UAT), wherever required.
- Maintain process documentation, SOP versions, process maps, and implementation-related records.
- Recommend best practices to improve operational efficiency, process compliance, governance, and service delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in banking operations, process excellence, business process management, or digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of banking processes, operational workflows, and stakeholder requirements.
- Hands-on experience in SOP development, process mapping, workflow design, and As-Is/To-Be process documentation.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, standardization, gap analysis, and operational efficiency enhancement.
- Experience coordinating with software, business analysis, or implementation teams to align business processes with system functionality.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage business and technology stakeholders and facilitate discussions between functional and technical teams.
- Exposure to change management, UAT, system implementation, or digital transformation initiatives will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate ProfileA banking domain qualified with a process excellence or business transformation background who can bridge the gap between banking operations and technology implementation. The candidate should be capable of independently gathering requirements, documenting standardized processes, aligning workflows with software capabilities, and supporting change adoption.
