Role Description The Occupational Health Physician (AFIH) will provide in office occupational health services to employees in the Kutch district, in a full-time capacity. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-employment and periodic medical examinations, managing work-related illnesses and injuries, and advising on fitness-for-duty and return-to-work decisions. The role involves developing and implementing occupational health protocols, monitoring workplace health risks, and supporting compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

The physician will collaborate with management,



safety teams, and other healthcare professionals, deliver health education and training sessions, and maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Occupational Health and Occupational Medicine.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in general Medicine relevant to workplace health.
- Candidates should possess skills in Training, including delivering health education and awareness programs.
- Candidates should possess experience in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) certification is required, along with a recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid medical registration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial health standards, workplace safety regulations, and medical documentation practices is beneficial.
- Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on-site in Kutch district, are essential.
