Solid hands-on experience in Moodle development (Version 4.5+), customization and administration.

- Strong hands-on experience in PHP (version 8.1+) and object-oriented programming.
- Experience developing and maintaining Moodle plugins, themes, blocks and reports.
- Experience with Moodle version upgrades and migration activities.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX and responsive web development.
- Experience with Moodle APIs, web services and third-party integrations.
- Working knowledge of Linux, Apache or Nginx and scheduled jobs.
- Experience using Git and following structured deployment practices.
- Strong debugging, performance-tuning and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Understanding of application security, access control, authentication and data privacy.
- Experience supporting production applications and handling incidents.
- Experience in AI Assisted development using Cursor or Claude.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
